"There is no darkness but ignorance." What does that mean? That if we walk through life, ignorant of the world around us, then we deserve to be kept in the dark. When we open up our eyes to the ways of the world, and see it for what it is, then the darkness is lifted and all becomes clear. If you know what you want from this life, but don't know how to get there, then you will find yourself stumbling around alone in the dark. Seek the knowledge that you require, and become wise to the path infront of you. If you lift up the black veil of ignorance, your path will become clear, and the light will shine upon you, and guide you on your way. Knowledge is power. Ignorance is failure. Which path will you choose?

ReplyDeleteSelf-knowledge is a key concern for Shakespeare, as in the essential theme of King Lear. When Shakespeare speaks of 'ignorance,' he means lack of self-knowledge. For Shakespeare, self-knowledge does not come from the 'ways of the world.' It is exactly the opposite. Self-knowledge comes from discarding the ways of the world and being true to oneself in terms of the traditions of the past, particularly the religious traditions. Religion is always buried beneath the surface of the plays. We must remember the historical context of the plays and the tremendous societal upheaval of his time, especially caused by the counter-Reformation, when all they had ever known was literally outlawed under Henry VIII and his daughter Elizabeth I. The word 'darkness' is important, because its opposite is 'light,' which always always always carried a religious connotation during Shakespeare's day.

Within everything there is a vibration and it vibrates in a certain frequency. High or Low in balanced or unbalanced frequencies.
As long as there is ignorance in it, it will not give a clear message and what remains is confusion, frustration and above all Ignorance.
I stand under the understanding that all unbalanced thoughts, feelings and actions starts with Ignorance.
It is for each Soul to stand under the perception of that the unbalanced vibration is that which feeds the ignorance and make the correction form within, and let it grow until it balances out all the unbalanced vibrations.
Everyone must walk in a balanced vibration and so the unbalanceness of ignorance will evaporate.
